Hello and welcome.

I thought i’d introduce myself. My name is Cheryl.

Mum, daughter, partner, and witch. I have a love for all things old, especially the 1920s, 30s & and 40s. I love the simple way of living. Just having what enough of what you need and making do and mending with what you have. Just like my grandparents used to.

Having a 5 year old has really made me stop and focus on what is important. I fear that she will not have the childhood I had, with the pressures of social media, and over consumption of clothes and the throw away society we have become. Spending more time outside, reading, and getting creative.

I’m looking to build a sustainable casual wardrobe to wear time and time again, repairing what needs repairing or replacing items with thrifty finds or sustainable clothing. I’d love to learn how to sew and crochet to incorporate these values into my everyday life.

My health & wellbeing of myself and my family I’m important, and like many others, I have taken the easy way out with most things, jared sauces, pre bought quiches when I know full well that I am more than capleable of making these things. I’ve lost time and lost focus on what is important. With the cost of life at the moment, learning to cook from scratch again will help keep the cost of food down.

Being a new witch, I want to learn more about the magical properties of helbs & spices. And how these can enhance my day to day life. To understand the moon cycles more, to understand crystals. To be more grounded and to stop comparing myself to others. We all do this.

So welcome to my little piece of the Internet. And join me as we go on this journey of how it used to be done.

Cheryl. X
